Here is a unique project, cut right into the existing granite bedrock. This project was too big and too far away from home for me to handle, so it was passed along to Pat Garrett and Shane Thurston of Vermont Stone Arts. They did an amazing job and an incredible amount of work getting it roughed out and all set up, then had me come down to help put the bench in the right place and work on certain details. I spent about three weeks with them. Due to the nature of the job site, no heavy equipment was used for anything. This was all done with hand held equipment, and all the stone was hauled out in five gallon buckets.
